Malpe Beach Just 7 km from Udupi. Water of the Arabian Sea makes a rocky (Basalt Rock ) natural formation. It is belived that Vasco Da Gama stayed here for few days before moving further south where he made his first entry in India. In Malpe the coconut palms yield water is "the sweetest in the world".
